How it works

Three steps, set once

    Install on PC

    The matchping desktop app runs alongside the League client and only uses the client's own local API.

  2. 02

    Pair with your phone

    Scan the on-screen QR code with your phone or enter the 6-digit code. You only do this once.

  3. 03

    Queue up, step away

    Get notified the moment a match is found. Handle the rest from your phone.

When a match is found

We don't leave those 10 seconds to mobile data

The match accept window is roughly 10 seconds, and mobile data can lag. That's why your PC accepts by default and pings your phone with an "accepted" notification. If you want, you can turn this off and accept manually from your phone.

  • Your PC accepts the match locally, instantly.
  • Accept or decline straight from your lock screen notification if you prefer.
  • Notifications still break through Focus modes.

Pick and ban
Search, filter by class, hover, and lock in. Declare your pick before it's your turn.
Pick order, role, and champion swaps
Accept or decline incoming requests from teammates, or send your own.
Chat
Read and send champ select chat, with an unread badge so you never miss a message.
Runes and summoner spells
Apply recommended rune pages with one tap, pick saved pages, or customize runes from scratch.

Safety

Only through the client's front door

  • Never reads game memory, never injects code.
  • Uses only the League client's local API, verified with Riot's certificate.
  • Pairing between phone and PC is device-specific and can be revoked at any time.
  • The client's local password never leaves your PC.

Is it free?

Match acceptance and champ select are free and will stay free. We may offer an optional premium plan for convenience features down the road.

Can my account get banned?

matchping doesn't tamper with the game or read game memory. It only does what you can already do manually in the client through Riot's own local API: accept matches, champ select, and rune pages.

Does my phone need to be on the same Wi-Fi as my PC?

No. Your phone can be on cellular data; the connection is handled through our servers.
